The higher ranks provided some excellent competition amongst each other. We had a mock shiai, everyone had a few matches, and a few us also practice our shimpan skills. |

Stanley Kadoi sensei ran a mini-seminar on the care and maintenance of the shinai on Saturday night, it was fascinating, and many questions were asked.....I myself took 2 pages of notes. I neglected to take any pictures of us partying, which is probably just as well, as we are a bunch of lushes, and who needs to see pictures of sloshing glasses, red faces, and bottle-covered tables anyway ! |
